The Challenge

Masseys, one of the many companies under the Mason Companies umbrella, is a family-owned business that specializes in apparel and footwear. They needed help writing product listings, creating marketing tiles, and building their Amazon presence to reach a broader audience and boost sales.
Driving new sales on Amazon requires more than just creative copy and fresh images. It involves thorough research and strategic planning to blend brand voice, SEO, engaging content, and seller best practices. We ensured that Masseys retained a distinct voice, appearance, and identity.

Our Solution

The Copy
Masseys granted Hinge Commerce access to their full range of assets, including catalog listings, branding details, and supplementary notes. Leveraging this information, we created unique product listings tailored to meet Amazon’s strict compliance standards while highlighting the distinct identity of their brand. These listings showcased key features and benefits, emphasized product quality, incorporated branded messaging, and utilized search-optimized keywords to enhance online visibility and drive sales growth.

The Data

Based on Masseys Lynley Pump, keywords weren’t being utilized to their full potential. There was a huge opportunity to make content more keyword-rich, especially in the Product Description. Before being optimized by Hinge Commerce, the PDP was well under our keyword count recommendation of using 25 of the top 100 keywords in each listing. Before our updates, their competitors were utilizing more of the top 20 and 100 keywords.

Optimizing copy with keywords on the front and back end is a key way to improve visibility and allow customers to find the perfect product. Many competitors were outperforming Masseys on the Amazon search pages when searching for top terms such as “pumps,” “dress pumps,” and “dress sandals.”

Masseys offers exceptional products, but they needed a more modern and fashion-forward look and feel on Amazon. By incorporating branding elements, consistent graphics, and styling ideas—including complementary items from their catalog to encourage conversions—we created a seamless and engaging shopping experience for their customers.
