Taylor Bianchi joined Hinge Commerce in 2018 with no prior eCommerce experience other than her background as a buyer. She stumbled upon a job posting that stood out from everything else she had seen then, leading her to become Hinge Commerce’s longest-standing employee. Since then, Taylor has grown in her Operations role alongside Hinge Commerce, contributing to its expansion from working solely with Amazon Seller and Vendor Central to embracing new retailers, PIM systems, and more.
What is your favorite thing about Hinge Commerce?
The people! Hinge has done an amazing job selecting its employees. Everyone is easy to get along with and always willing to lend a hand. Everyone’s willing to wear whatever hat is needed, regardless of if it’s part of their title or not.
Proudest Hinge Commerce Moment?
Stealing the plants when we left the office! Only kidding. The most recent proud moment was when Hinge was a 2024 ENDCAP Grocery Awards finalist. While I personally did not have a hand in the two Amazon pages that made it to finals, it was a proud moment to see my fellow Hingers’ hard work be recognized. Not only do we think they do an amazing job, but everyone else does, too.
Where do you see eCommerce going in the next year?
I only see eComm growing, as it has been for at least the last decade. We’ll see more AI integration to give a more tailored shopping experience. I’ve been hearing “dynamic pricing” getting mentioned in the news and could see that moving onto retail sites as well.
