Out of concern for customer safety related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Amazon has added more products to the list of personal safety and household products. These items are held to higher requirements due to COVID-19. Previously, the list had included face masks, hand sanitizer, sanitary gloves, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As of this week, the full list of items now include:
- Face masks
- Hand sanitizer
- Sanitary gloves
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Disinfectant wipes and sprays
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Sanitary gloves
- Soap
- Paper products
- Thermometers
- Pulse oximeters
- Over-the-counter medicines and supplements (for humans)
Note: You must be a credentialed manufacturer to sell diagnostic and collection kits and certified N95 and similar masks on Amazon.
For new product listings of Personal Safety and Household products, Amazon will require a New Listing Creation Requirements for Personal Safety and Household Products form to be completed.
For listings of existing Personal Safety and Household products (where the item is already in Amazon’s catalog but the item is new to your catalog) Amazon will ask that you provide some or all of the following:
- At least one purchase invoice for the products from a manufacturer or distributor
- Photos of the product or its packaging
- Consent to Amazon’s Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy
